A&P and Avionics Technicians

KaiserAir Oakland & Santa Rosa

Full and Part-Times Position

KaiserAir is advertising immediate openings for full and part-time A&P and Avionics Technicians at both its Oakland and Santa Rosa facilities.

A&P Technicians perform maintenance on business jets to include Citation, Hawker, Challenger, Gulfstream, and Boeing 737. Responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and servicing aircraft with minimum schedule impact and without compromising safety or quality.

Avionics Technicians provide technical expertise and guidance while performing various operational, functional tests and repairs of avionics/electronics, aircraft equipment and systems to ensure a defect free aircraft. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact without compromising safety or quality.

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or GED
Recent experience working on corporate business jets preferred
Ability to apply analytical skills to work activities
Ability to build and maintain positive relationship internally and externally
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong work ethic with team-oriented attitude
Must pass security background check and pre-employment DOT drug test
Willingness to work overtime, evenings, and weekends

A&P Technician

A&P License

Avionics Technician

Two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics
Four years experience in avionics/electronics; or two years related work experience
A&P and/or FCC preferred
Ability to read/interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

Facility/Aircraft Cleaner

Santa Rosa Jet Center

Part-Time Position

KaiserAir is advertising an immediate opening for a part-time Facility/Aircraft Cleaner.

Under supervision of the General Manager, the Facility/Aircraft Cleaner will be scheduled up to 32 hours per week and have primary responsibility for the general cleanliness of the facilities and, as time allows, cleaning of aircraft.

Job Qualifications

Recent janitorial or aircraft detailing experience strongly preferred
Ability to stand, stoop, bend, squat, twist, climb and be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
