KaiserAir
Receives FAA Diamond Certificate of Excellence For Maintenance Staff
OAKLAND,
Calif. KaiserAir, Inc., the largest company managing and
chartering business jets in the San Francisco Bay Area, has received
the Federal Aviation Administrations Diamond Certificate of
Excellence in Maintenance Training, created to honor companies "who
take a proactive role in training their technical workforce."
The
Diamond award is the highest award of its type, and was given to
KaiserAir in recognition of the fact that 19 of its 30 maintenance
technicians have voluntarily taken training that exceeds federal
requirements.
"Were
extremely proud of our technicians for taking the extra steps to
qualify for this award," said Andy Fitzgerald, vice president
of maintenance for KaiserAir. "We pride ourselves on providing
the highest quality of service, and we can only do this when our
technicians go the proverbial extra mile in maintaining and increasing
their skills and knowledge."
At
a luncheon held in KaiserAirs headquarters at Oakland International
Airports North Field, FAA Safety Program Manager Guy Minor
presented the award certificates to Fitzgerald, and to each of the
maintenance technicians who took the additional courses.
