Oakland's
KaiserAir, Inc. Receives FAA Certification To Perform RVSM Certification
on Gulfstreams
OOAKLAND,
Calif. - The Federal Aviation Administration has authorized KaiserAir,
Inc., a full-service aviation management company and fixed base
operator at Oakland International Airport, to perform both original
and recurrent certification of Reduced Vertical Separation Minimums
systems on Gulfstream G-III and G-IV series aircraft.
The
FAA granted KaiserAir a new limited specialized service repair station
rating granted under certificate COZR942C.
The new authorization gives Gulfstream G-III and G-IV operators
an additional, cost-effective source for the recently required system
certification tests, said Sandy Waters, KaiserAir vice president.
KaiserAir also will be able to perform the 24-month recurrent certification
required by the FAA letter of authorization for Part 91 aircraft,
or by the FAA operations specifications for Part 135 air carriers.
KaiserAir
is a full-service management company and fixed-base operator at
Oakland International Airport, specializing in the operation and
maintenance of Gulfstream, Hawker, Cessna and other business jet
aircraft.
Additional
information is available on the Internet at www.kaiserair.com, or
